Hello! We are called HVGI, this, in case you couldn't guess, is the initials of our names! But in this case it stands for Hopefully Very Good Invention. We heard about the Ice Edge competition through Woodcraft Folk, which is a group for young people that encourages awareness of global issues. (And is also very cool!). The aim of this group is "Education for Social Change", it is all about peace and being Eco-friendly, helping the environment.

Hallam's interest in world issues attracted him to the idea of the ice edge competition. He helped with the idea, from its early stages through to the idea presented on our finished website,as well as working on individual pages of the site.
